Alison Krauss

Alison Krauss was born July 23, 1971, in the city of Decatur, Illinois. LeAnn Kymes and she were two of the youngest winners of the Grammy Award. Alison Maria Krauss, born 23rd July 1971, is an American singer and musician. She started in the industry at the age of a young child, and when she was just 10 years older. She was signed in 1985 by Rounder Records. Her first solo album was released in 1987. She was then invited to join Alison Krauss Union Station, the band she currently performs with. Her first album together as a group came out in 1989.
